Hit-and-run crash kills pedestrian
BAY SHORE – Police continue to investigate the hig-and-run death of a pedestrian, Monday morning. The 55-year-old male victim, whose name could not be learned, was found dead on Spence Street, just west of Fifth Avenue, about 5:39 a.m.
Police say it appears the victim was struck by a large vehicle, possibly a truck.
