BAYPORT – Police are investigating robbery at the Hudson City Savings Bank on Montauk Highway, Bayport, about 1:20 Monday afternoon. 

A man walked in and handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening violence if the teller did not comply.  The suspect left, with money, and was last seen walking west in the parking lot.

The suspect is white, late 30s or early 40s, about 5’9” tall, medium build, dark hair and beard.  He was wearing a baseball cap, black sunglasses, dark canvass jacket, blue jeans and black leather gloves.
